Okay so to make a long story short...I bought my STi about a year ago now next month...Had an issue with my plates from the dealership now and STILL have not received my plates from them (11 1/2 months later)...After dealing with this f**ken dealership now I finally got my registration and tags but no plates..So I call them and ask them what the F happend? " Ah sir someone made a mistake, will look into it"..... Im so mad now so I somehow get the email to the OWNER of the Cardinale dealership and wrote him a long letter informing him of the discuss of treatment i received from his sales team and so on and so on.....(wrote the letter friday night and received a call back last night a 9pm)

I get a call from the General Manager kinda late and im like WTF? anyways i answer it an he tells me he got a phone call from MR CARDINALE wondering wtf happend? He ends up saying sorry and what he can do for me to make it right?
Told him that honestly ...there really isn't anything he can do.

When i showed up to the dealership to check out the STi i was so pumped..Anyways i take the car for a spin and everything seems good...I kept it under 25mph and never took it to the highway...We get back, work numbers...meanwhile one of the salesmen takes the car with him to his manager so he can see the car before it sales?? So he gets on the car and Jams on the Sti full speed...Im like wtf? Im about to buy that car.. Salesmen in there were laughing..I was so pissed but blinded by happiness in knowing i was gonna leave in an STi (again)...So we come to a deal, they agree to fix some cosmetic issues and detail (buff) the car another day since i didnt want to wait for them to wash it that same day...

Foward to four days later my clutch starts to slip hard and I had babied the car up until cause it was my (used) "New" car..I call the dealership and explain to them what the deal is and how the car had 60k exactly and most likely the original clutch and how that how long the usually last....they start giving me mad ****..."are you racing the car?" "Do you know how to drive the car? Cause you know that this isn't like any other manual car, its a real sports car and you have to know how to shift these and the right time" lol I was like are you serious...? (my 2nd STi)...told him it had to be fixed or my cash back..he told he could give me my money back..but if I bought the clutch he would install it... As much as i didnt want to I bough a new OEM clutch kit and flywheel...They end up asking my uncle if he can do the job and install the clutch for me after work hours for 200$$ knowing my uncle wouldnt say no since im his nephew...so they came up hard on that....after that they said they wouldnt fix the cosmetic issues anymore since they installed the clutch...That got me so mad...Anyways i go to pick up my car and my rear bumper is all scratched and jacked up from the buffing machine..they refused to fix it and say it was already there..I CLEARLY wasnt there... Anyways it was the worst ever car buying experience..left me exhausted and beat, felt like i was dealing with a rock and would not get anything that i wanted done for me..they came up...

-Burned through my paint with the buffing machine in my rear bumper
-Denied they did it and insisted it was already there
-were extremely rude when it came to helping me/ made rude comments and suggestions when they obviously knew nothing about SUBARU's
-Made me buy my own clutch kit...
-had my uncle, who works there as a tech install it after work hours for 200$ to save them self cash..knowing he would do the job since im his nephew..
-11 1/2 month later and still no license plates...
-sales men punching through gears in my car and then they laugh wtf?



Anyways he tells me that the best he can do is give me my money back for the clutch...but needs a receipt or paper stating how much i spend..
I need help from someone one here that can help me with a receipt that i can fax to this dealership and try and get my cash back...I got my clutch from Amozon for like 300 bucks and can get that receipt but want to juice as much as possible from them as i can since i feel like this still doesn't justify how i got treated or my car, they lied and treated me like **** after they got their down payment and sale done...Is there anyone that can help me? Any GST,AHQ, any shop?? I will use that cash on whoever can help me as my car needs a few things done to it...so its a win win situation, You help me get 400$$ or so and i spend the entire cash in your shop to fix my car...? Long shot but worth the try..

 

So if I understand you correctly you want any of these shops you listed to:

1. Lie for you by creating a fake receipt
2. Jeopardize their good standing as vendors on this and other sites
3. Commit fraud and potentially damage any potential business they might gain from partnering with this particular dealership...

Just give them the Amazon receipt. No honest shop is going to give you a fake invoice.


TBH, your relationship with this dealership should have ended when you saw the salesman take off in the car you were buying.

Not looking for a receipt...more of a printed quote stating how much my item would cost through them if i were to get it ordered through them. No one has to say or lie that i got work done there....just a "Shop" printed quote...I can always used my Amozon receipt but I wont lie, I just want to get the highest quote to get more out of it i guess...They were dirty with me so if i can get a a little more than why not? No one has to lie, just get me a quote (hoping its higher than what i paid) and i get my cash and spend it and the shop.....nothing illegal just looking for a higher quote than what i paid..

You should have walked right then and there. Hindsight is always 20/20 though. Sounded like a problem car from the get.

Sounds like you should just man up and tell them you paid like 300 bucks for the clutch and flywheel.

 

Look I am tired of dealing with idiots like this who go off making comments when they dont know details...Calling me a son? A quote is not a receipt. If they are asking for a receipt, give them a receipt. If you give them a quote they are going laugh in your face. If you give them a quote first and them a receipt that is a different price, they will just turn their back on you.



This. Hell I would have done more than just walk. I would have made a huge scene. Especially if the place was filled with potential customers.
