i need to take my sti in to a dealership to get my 5th gear replaced cuz it grinds when i down shift from 6th into 5th. as some of you know i used to work at Diablo mazda Subaru (Walnut Creek) but got laid off recently. tried to take it there but the new service manager is all up tight about warranty work and he found out what i had done to my car, Stage 2. i put every thing back to factory so i need a good dealership to take it to. i heard Turlock is good but its too far for me. i was thinking of taking it to either Albany Subaru or oakland Subaru but don't know much about them. any advice would be great.

 

I have read only great things about Santa Cruz, might be a trek for you, but could be worth it.
