Best Dealership for warranty work.

Hey everyone where's the best subaru dealership for service and warranty work? I have done some research and I have read up on a lot of local bay area dealerships and so far they all seem to point to Capitol Subaru. Is there another closer than that one for one that resides in Oakland? Thanks.

Carlsen Subaru in Redwood City. As for Mark and tell him that Benny sent you. DO NOT take it to Ron Price in South San Francisco. Their service sucks and their technicians don't pay attention to details.

If you don't mind taking the bridge and pay bridge toll. Carlsen. If you do, but don't mind driving just a tiny bit longer, Capitol. Other than that, flip a coin between those two.

Capitol has done a few warranty jobs for both my car and my wife's. I recommend them.

Curious that nobody has mentioned Santa Cruz. Back when my car was under warranty, they seemed pretty cool...
Having said that, they lost my business when my water pump went out at 90k miles because I told them to replace it when they did the timing belt at 60K. Seems they lack some attention to detail as well.

"Is there another closer than that one for one that resides in Oakland?"

That's because we read that part of his post and figured Santa Cruz might be too far, but there are solid options that are reasonably closer than they are to Hayward.

Thanks for the feedback and experiences you guys had. Looks like majority points to Capitol without hassles.

Give Capitol (408-723-1200) a call first to save yourself a trip. The service advisor, Justin, can give you a very good idea of what to expect when you bring your car in. Let him know that you are from i-club, and he will take good care of you. Otherwise, you can go and get a sense of how they are at their 11/17 gathering: https://www.i-club.com/forums/meetings-events-donuts-91/capitol-subaru-11-17-07-come-free-food-stay-fun-173513/
