And dude, brown tuxes with black chucks? Not a good color combo unless its a dark brown.

We had the ranch...her family owns it so facilities are free and the Club. My family owns most of it so the facilities were free...both places would cost pretty close to the same but one gave us a list of 200 people and one we figured we could invite about 130 and expect maybe 85 to show. One was fancy. One was low key.
We checked out a couple of VERY cool little spots though. I had my heart set on one but it was too small...we figured 65-100 tops.
The location is HUGE. You really can't do anything at all until you have a date and a location.

i wish i could get away with <100 people. im TRYING to get it <200 right now
hes chinese and im italian/german/norse, japanese and amer indian. plus most of my family is catholic.......good luck right? hahayou deffinately got lucky having family that owns places you guys like.

hard part is finding the place...and since the place determines the date...we were shooting for 07...but im thinking about pushing it back to 08 now.
I'd ditch the brown pinstripe idea.
You'll look back in a few years and wonder what you were thinking .You really can't go wrong with black and white. I was at a wedding recently where the girls had orange dresses and the guys had khaki suits. It made me wish I picked Khaki for our wedding.

I can probably help you find a site suitable. Like I told oneman, my wife is a very good wedding coordinator and she knows a lot of places around the bay area. If you're looking for summer 07 it will be tough, mybe early fall is still doable. Anyway, you can PM me if you like some help. I can ask my wife for you. If you need detailed planning with budget and the perfect site, my wife offers free initial consultation.
Congrats and good luck!
Will
Wedding plan is a pain in the ***. I wish I had someone to do it all for me. We've picked out the church (mine) and the venue (my backyard). I've actually got a lot done, I still haven't choosen bridesmaids dresses a def. color. It will most likely be black and red, possibiliy pinkishhhhhh. who knows yet.... I'm printing out "save the date" postcards as we speak. GL with the planning Ray
