Its probably as crappy as maaco, but you might want to check www.1daypaint.com
As I said in another thread i have no experience, but I like there website
they painted a nascar car and they're pretty damn cheap, fast, and on the best one ($1200) theres a 5 year warranty. Just a thought, GL

Probably, if you wet sand it yourself after ( a lot of work) it would look really good. If it was really that bad, they wouldn't be in business.
Is the primer something I can do myself with spray cans and then sand it with like 600 grit? Because I heard Maaco doesn't use flex primer, so I'd like to spend a little to get it on myself if that's the case.

I went to the one on Brokaw in San Jose, and the guys there are pretty easy to work with. They put everything in writing for your estimates.
Thanks a bunch,

Also, although I'm fully aware the Maaco is crappy overall, but certainly *some* franchises must be better than others! I guess no one here routinely takes their car to maaco's, so nevermind.

The $399 price included the prep work. I just replaced a couple panels, and they did the rest. They are located at 495 East Brokaw Road in San Jose, and the phone number is 408.437.1000.
