painting skirts

ive had my skirts painted during an installfest awhile back. the rubber strip was removed, and so was the skirt itself.
do not paint the skirt with the rubber strip on. that strip will flex too much and the paints will begin to crack.

yeah i put the rubber strip back on. it should stick right back on the skirt.

what rubber strip...does anyone have a picture of this?

I am interested in painting mine also even though i have a black car..i just think it would look better...anyone have instructions on how to paint then at home or is that just not recomended?

those actually look pretty nice..but i'd have to see it in person before doing it but i may try it out in order to save a couple of bucks..

mmboost was the person who helped paint my skirts. when he did his skirts he painted the rubber strips. i think he added the flex agent, and it still cracked.
one tip after painting the skirts make sure you tell folks to lift their feet before he step inside, because they'll scuff the paint. mines already scuffed up.
