Was going to ask that too, but wasn't sure if you chose to stick with that handguard. Some people like them. I sort of prefer modular so I can put stuff only where I need it, but that depends on what you will use it for too.

Modular looks like something I might look into. It's going to be a range gun, so I don't need a ton of stuff on it. I'm really only looking to change the handguard for aesthetic purposes. I much prefer the streamlined look of a quad rail/modular handguard. With something like what I've got, would I be able to mount a rifle length on there? I know I'll need to get an even lower profile gas block, which I'm fine with.

No sh*t, tell me about it. My company installed their new "net nanny" blocker and all things firearm are now blocked (strict anti firearm policy, meh).

I need to get out to the range...

Dude posted on Calguns yesterday that his wife bought her first firearm last week. LA (city or county?) sent her a letter in the mail basically that was a bunch of anti gun propaganda.

I told him to use it as a target and mail it back to them.

I am sure it is for newly registered firearms to first time buyers (first DOJ check?).

That bill was approved for the 80% build restrictions now too!! Better watch out for that one; if that gets signed in, it will mean future private builds will have to be registered also

Hasn't passed yet, but there's no telling how it will go with Brown.
