i get a 19.4 on the new track layout. but adverage people get like 20-22s. if anyone can hit a 19.5 or lower, you get the priviliage to drive the pro kart which is a twin engine kart that does 17s by the employees

I pitch the kart into 5 and stay tight to the barriers and do a quick lift of the throttle before turning into 6. If you time it right, you'll get a really good run out of the corner, sometimes I slide too much out of there though.
Also, it depends a lot on the way the kart behaves.
PS - there is sign now that says you have to hit a 19.5 to drive the twin engine kart.

I need to try to work down to that time, then again maybe it was more grippy than the time I went; the track was cold when I was on it :/.

Went on wednesday night. I did an 18.969 and my buddy did a 19.093. The conditions were good and the karts seemed hooked up. For now I should have the track record unless somebody else has beaten it since the other night. They couldn't update the system to put my name cause nobody knew how
(
I'll be down there around 10ish on tomorrow morning, saturday.

The infield section is where I think you can make up a lot of time. Also, the final hairpin before you lay on the throttle all the way back to turn 1.
