Laser Cutting Coilovers y0!
When I used to build my model cars with absolutely no gap at all, i would not install the suspension and just super glue the wheels to the body. maybe you could just do that? super glue your wheels to your fenders? then you would be super tucked? and since it will just be a show car, you won't have to worry about it handling.. ever.
