Btw, at least the LAKERS are still IN the playoffs/Finals, unlike "some" team(s)!?

I don't hate the Lakers. I hate the players on that team now. It's not like the Magic/Worthy/Scott days. I was never a fan, but I didn't hate them. Those guys played as a team and played well together. Not a bunch of whiner's they've got today and I'd like to see Malone end his career w/ out a championship.

Doesnt look like the Lakers are going to make history. we can all breathe easier now guys. I watched the whole game and I can say i whitnessed the dynasty of the Lakers die today. Everyone knows it the organization is going to make some serious changes in the off season, meaning the team is going to fall apart. For 5 years only 2 teams stood in the face of the Lakers and overcame them, im just glad the Pistons could join the spurs in defeating the Lakers.
This was a good season in basketball. Hopefully the basketball fans here on i-club will still be around to chat about the season. I wonder how many laker fans from now will still be here next year. Heres an idea we can have an i-club former laker fan lottery for new teams!

No matter how disappointed I am, I give credits to the Pistons. They palyed a great series and abselutely deserve to be the champ. Lakers did not play with heart in the finals and role players sucked so bad.
No matter win or lose, I'll always root for LA. You can count on me to be here next year.

I'm actually quite sad that the Lakers will be broken up now. I mean for the past couple of years, Lakers vs. Kings, in my mind was the best rivalry in ANY sport...including baseball. I mean from Doug Christie beating Fox's nappy @ss hair to a jerri-curl to Shaq dissing Christie's husband...erm wife...in public....that's some good ish. Regardless of which team you were rooting for, the rivalry made it all fun and awesome to watch (still think the 2002 Western Conference finals was the best series in the past decade).
Well...here's to a great season of basketball and for the next already much anticipated season.

I'm sadly a Warriors fan. So being a Warriors fan, I'm used to disappointments. So I know how you Laker fans feel. Haha. What can I say? The Pistons just wanted it more.

btw, for all the "Kings" fans & Laker-haters basking in the ***PISTONS"*** accomplishment & glory, perhaps it's the ignorance of youth or the harsh reality of recognizing that your team(s) will never reach the upper echelon.....but reveling in another team's success is a little........well, weak sauce.
After watching the finals, the scary part is that they still have Darko to develope. If they can keep this group together and get Darko ready in 2 years. damn.
This season turned out pretty nice. some nice young teams are making strides. Miami, NYK, Denver, Cavs, Phoenix (yeah watch them w/ all that cap money).
But that all spells a championship for the Warriors next year! well maybe not at least the team is under pressure to win now.
