If kobe wasnt there, shaq wasnt there... And L.A sucked, I mean warriors status I bet you guys wouldnt be sporting them.... Unless your from L.A in which I doubt most of you who posted are. Jus my 2 cents....

 

Don't even go there man. I was there cheering the likes of Vlade, Ceballos, James Edwards, Christie, Tony Campbell & Smith just to name a few back in the early 90s (not even mentioning the decent ones like Van Excel, Eddie jones etc, etc...) I actually grew up in the SD area watching the Lakers. So a Laker Fan, that I am. I would like 'em no matter what...

I am so pissed man. I moved...no cable. We just went and bought freakin direct TV so we don't miss the hocky and NBA finals.

Have been drinking and eating a lot..have to go out to watch games.

I don't think they are the yankees of the NBA...they are only 6th on the highest payrolls....$30 million behind the knicks. And over half of it goes to kobe/shaq.

But I can see where you're coming from...but damn dude the yankees are damn near double the salery cap.

And freakin shaq/malone/payton are all on the downside of hall of fame careers.
Only hall of famer they got on the upside is kobe. I am a huge payton fan but they would have been better off without him.

yankees have jeter, ARod, Posada, Matsui in the prime and upside of their careers just to name a few.

A shaq like player in Rivera.

And payton/malone type figers in Giambi, sheffield, Lofton, Williams, Sierra, and Mussina.

But at least I can say that the yankees do one thing I admire. They make **** loads of money and they actually put it back into the team. Not like the Giants.

if it's any consolation, I was actually planning to watch Sun's game. I just enjoy good basketball....no matter who's playing....even the QUEENS! However, due to a baby shower, I won't be able to peep the action. But hopefully, Sac can avoid vvvvvv, AND the Lake Show can take care of business (not calling it YET)

then everyone will get the match up they've been waiting for!
