unfortunately not yet. haven't had time with work. still drives just fine. did the slow circles, both directions, and no clicking or noises of any sort. was even able to do it while making a tire come off the ground as well (dunno if that makes a difference). hoping that it really was on dollies like the bastards said and huck just missed em or that i got very very lucky. hopefully monday i can set up an appt to get it looked at.

Anyways, you can get an AWD warning sticker off Ebay (with correct grammar) for $5 shipped:

wow...just read this thread!!
I also used to work in Downtown and my 02 WRX was towed a couple of years back when I was parked on 1st street and Mission.
What they do is that after 3pm the lane where the Meters are they clear it out so it becomes a 3rd driving lane. Thus, them towing every dam car. One day mine was one of them.
I dont know if they put a small dolly on what, but I was also charged the Dolly Fee!!!...
My WRX was towed to the 850 Bryant Tow yard near that building below the overpass. Was yours the same spot???
But after I got my car out of there, it ran fan. I didnt even question if they really "had" used a dolly. I figure if they didnt they atleast put the car in neutral and rolled it out of there.
If you car drives fine right now, I wouldnt worry about it. Mine was fine until I sold it 2 years after.

Glad I wasn't the only one. Same spot under the overpass. The more I think about it, the more I think they didn't use a dolly, just charged me for it to cover their ***. Car drives great as it did before. Very sh*tty situation but it'll never happen again. What a waste of money.
