I got whooped 2 out of 3 races out at samoa yesterday(not the track ). The kid with the blue '05 STi all riced out took me the first two races (by about a car). I turned up the AVCR a lil the third race and took him by half a car. Funny thing was when he came in to EKA car stereo to ask me to race he was all I am stage 3. Dude had a stock turbo, FMIC, intake, protune, tbe which to my understanding is stage 1 right? Anyways it was fun to race (been a minute) even if I did lose twice.

Is that the blue STI with black wheels?

To my understanding, that car is stage 2 or 2.5 STI cause of the front mount. I am a bit hazy about stages 3 and 4, but I know stage 1 is stock with an AP or tune, and stage 2 is with a downpipe and EM. I know stage 4 is a bigger turbo, intercooler, and all the fixin's. I'm Just not sure what stage 3 is....STI turbo and TMIC swap for a wrx?

I believe he was gonna try to run that boost on a maxed out 18g. Im not sure you're gonna have to ask him. But yea no way will a TD04 handle that crazy amount of boost

ya, you will need bigger injectors and about $3000-$3500 for a gt30r setup. Not to mention, it may be a bit big for a 2.0. Evo big 16g or 18g would be best probably. Besides, you could use a cobb map for the 18g until you get tuned.

So is everyone chillin at home or what?

Forced Performance or deadbolt. Deadbolt is a bit pricier, but they offer ported wastegates, ceramic coating, and free lifetime turbo rebuild. Maybe see what price GST can get you for a FP turbo.

oh ya, I'll totally help you put the horns on. Get ahold of me tomorrow after 5, or whenever if it is raining

It was set where D-rawk left it t00ned it. I could have been over 1% of his settings in 1st - 3rd. When I got up here I and got the new solenoid in I set it back about 6% in first from where he had it, -%4 in 2nd and -3% in 3rd and 4th was left to 0 and 5th is -50. So I didn't go crazy or anything. But that combined withhis extra 100lb friend jumping in I was able to take him the last time and go home with at least some pride
