While I don't have any intern space, I am very good with resumes, so if you'd like help fleshing out a real, nice profesional resume (which means a lot in ANY industry), hit me up.

I don't know about car related internships, but I know Oakland Children Hospital likes volunteers. These voulunteers ususally provides social supports to patients and provide assistants to parents at the hospital. For example, organize bingo programs, watch over kids in the playground, and so on. Pretty noble things to do IMO. It might be a eye opener to healthcare professions.

Go online and look at acedemic labs (Stanford, Berkeley, SCU...). Sometimes they'll take interns to do pipeting work, I did it in HS. And it looks good for college apps too. By the way, other than cars and pot, what are you interested in doing?

Ugh. Pipeting work is mind numbingly boring.

True, but if you get it done as a HSer or right after you can get possitions where you don't have to do it once you're at college. And it's a skill that a lot of life-science professionals are somehow lacking in.

pot?? hahaha, I know I make a lot of references to that, but I'm off it now as the weather is better. It was just a phase, but it kind of sucks that fizay and pot are synonymous.

As far as interests goes: anything aside from grunt work for law firms which I figure I'll be doing soon enough anyways. Just think: what would I do in the fine month of may for an internship? I'm thinking Raider's training facility in Alameda, but that's kind of far. Update: MBZ of Oakland's service manager seemed pretty uninterested, maybe because the kids who worked there last year were goof-offs but I think Downtown Subaru is interested. I will meet with them tommorrow.
