Good sushi restaurant?
x2 worst example of a sushi joint around. GO stand on a chair and scream saki bomb in a real restaurant.... One of my favorite places is Yakko in Mtn View. It's located on Dana a bout two blocks from shoreline. Feel free to kick back and have a good time. It has a great atmosphere, great food, the chefs are funny as all hell.

Zushi Puzzle on Lombard & Buchanan in SF. Hands down the best I've had. Been going there for 5 years now and won't go anywhere else.
They recently were awarded for 2007 best Sushi in the city by Zagats guide, as well as getting the highest rating from the Michelin guide.
I highly recommend it, and if you go sit at the sushi bar.

I actually go there for lunch - its not busy, service is good, food is very good (and was $28 for 2 people, instead of my usual like $50 in plate of sushi by myself.)
Granted if your going at night when they have Saki Bomb time - id prolly dislike it also. Nothing more annoying than when your trying to enjoy your dinner, large flashing lights, people screaming and drinking on tables....
seto sushi on maude off mathilda in sunnyvale - authentic japanese sushi house, I see more japanese clientele there more than any other sushi place. On the pricy side though.
***i sushi in palo alto. Classy atmosphere, good sushi, and expensive

If you like the Sushi there, I definitely recommend you go to Sushi Club, just down the street. Kimura-san, the Sushi chef/owner of Sushi Club, used to be the sushi chef at Seto but something happened so he decided to make his own restaurant. A LOT of Seto's regulars changed to Sushi Club because of Kimura-san.
