+1 to that...

which reminds me, I have to call them up to make an appt. for my 90k service!

I live in Milpitas and would rather drive to Lic and know that I'm getting the work done (and done right) than go get reamed at some dealership.

nah
Only if there are reputable shops within your area. I wouldn't just go to just ANY shop. If the shop bothers posting their business here, we know who they are, and they have a strong following of customers, it's fine. I'd love to go to LIC (boy would that make life a lot easier :P), but since I can't get anyone in my household (or most friends for that matter) to want to drive out to Novato to pick up my ride, then the nearby shops (Speed Element, GST Motorsports, GB Motorsports, etc) would suit me fine.

30K DIY and save. I did mine in a day and wasn't hard. There are a ton of how to's regaurding brake bleeding, tranny fliud and diff fluid. The other stuff is a no brainer like the air filter, oil change, ect. If you have any Q's feel free to pm me. I did my 30k for under $100 and I used ATE brake fluid (pricey). Anyways the experince you gain and information you learn about your car is worth WAY more than the $200 you will save. Remeber, no one will love your car like you!

If I had to take it to a shop I would check out GST Motorsports sine I am a ***** fanboi.
