No I'm not implying that he would have been a bad cop if he gave me a speeding ticket. When I saw the bike in my rearview I knew he was about to light me up and write me a speeding ticket. If he had decided to cite me for speeding or maybe even reckless driving, he would have just been doing his job and I was clearly breaking the law. All I meant by "good cop" is that for whatever reason he decided to let me off with a warning and gave decided to give me a huge break. I feel like people flame cops and the highway patrol all the time. I just wanted to share a positive experience with a LE just to illustrate that sometimes we get a break too.

I drove by a CHP today and I do not believe I was breaking any laws, but with a 42y/o British speedometer who can be sure!? He spotted me and gave me a thumbs-up.
