Yes, on October 27, 34 years ago, I came into this world. And 34 years later to the day I was driving like an idiot on eastbound 580. When the CHP officer came back to my car she said, "Jason! On your BIRTHDAY! What were you thinking?! So I told her the "late to work" tale. I asked her to give me a break since it was my birthday to which she reminds me that she already did. She didn't cite me for wreckless driving. She didn't cite me for 85mph (which she quoted, which honestly I was probably going faster when she caught up to me). She gave me a ticket for 75. 10mph over PSL, not bad compared to reality.
The worst part? I have no badges on my car and asked me it if was turbocharged Honda. To which I chuckled and said, "Hardly. Its an Impreza... comes with the turbo."
The best part? She asked me, "How old are you?". To which I replied honestly and she said "Wow, you look much younger". This of course led to me saying "Thank you". And I swore I'd never say "Thank you" to an officer giving me a ticket!

Ah well, you do the crime. You pay the fine.

Whew... I just realized. I was on really a connection between 80 and 580. She could have written it as 75 in 50! 
But I just looked at my copy of the ticket, 75 in a 65.
I got off easy.
