they used to come on the naval base in SD for recruiting seminars, .... they'd always bring their "cool" toys like that!!

actually, that's a personal bike. the guy who rides that is a CHP officer who happens to be a Yamaha R1 nut, and a big fan of track days. the leathers were custom made at Helimot's in San Jose, CA for the guy -- and the state didn't pay for those either as i recall. he is carrying some pretty good speed through T2 at laguna in those photos.
