not if people pull their heads out of their asses and start to speak up on what is going on. Bush is padding the pockets of all his friends until he gets out of office.

I think americans have forgotten their power as members of a democracy.

I wouldn't have a problem with rising fuel costs if it wasn't purely based on profit increase and the stocks of the big companies. Padding the pockets of the rich even more. Record profits during a "recession" is rediculous. In the process of rising the profit margins they're raising the cost of living for every american, not just commuters. Want milk, chicken, eggs, pay for the rising fuel costs... again. We pay for it in our tanks and their tanks... even the fuel the oil companies use in their vehicles.

Then they want to increase taxes on it. Great.

Needs to be regulated.

Damn gas prices keep rising! I filled up the other day for $50-55. WTF Is this, and it's only a 13-14 gallon tank. The prices keep rising, it's about to hit 4 soon and it's not even summer. I predict, that this summer, it will be $4.50+ a gallon for premium.

me too! in october of '06 my mom bought a honda civic gx, it runs on natural gas, like from the gas meter at your home. many city buses and some pg&e vehicles run off it also. she also bought the "fill unit" that lets you fill the car at home. i just had to run a underground gas line from the gas meter to the garage for the fill unit, which is pretty much just a pump that fills the tank in the car to 3600psi. the gas tank is about 10 gallons and will last about 250 miles, the car gets 30-35mpg and she pays only $.79 a gallon!!! yeah, you do the math! and the car puts out almost no smog, it has 25k miles on it now and the inside of the tail pipe is so clean, you could eat off of it! i wish they would promote these natural gas cars more cause their pretty sweet and will save people a ton of $. just thought i'd share, chris

yeah hybrids... save the planet today and completely **** it up in 10 years.

Those batteries are SOOOO much worse for the environment. Can't do **** with them. Waste. And hybrids don't even get that great of gas mileage. Buy a diesel or natural gas car. Even electric if you commute is localized.

or fight the f'in oil companies.
