Gas prices are rediculous. Bottom line....I don't even look anymore. I put in $30 or $40 at a time so I don't feel bad and I do it whenever I need to do it.

We're getting ****ed over. Oil companies are using the media blitz on running out of oil and iraq war is about oil...etc...etc. to drive up prices. All the while making record profits every quarter. Nothing is gonna change until it's regulated.... but that comes with it's own issues.

So I say...**** them. **** gas prices. I drive what I want how I want where I want. I look at it like PGE....sometimes I'm stoked when I get a bill that says $110 on it but I always expect one that says $275.

Wow...I'm glad I agreed to start car pooling recently with a coworker. I'll still be driving my car, but she'll be paying for some gas

meh. people will still pay it. even if you tax the oil companies, they'll just pass on the cost of doing business to the consumer. simple economics. the price elasticity for gasoline is very low since we all need it. if you make them pay a tax they'll just raise the price more & cause consumers to pay even more. we end up getting shafted in the long run.

just find ways to drive less, I suppose.

Well to some degree at least min wage is going up. Not sure how much that counters the increase in price and inflation but having more dough beats having less dough.
