face. Good to hear the cop let you off. As far as running catless or not who cares, most states don't give a rip about smog stuff anyways.-Gio

just a heads up....
For the Sonoma County locals, you might want to watch out for cops around Bodega Bay these days too. Ever since the road rage shooting a few weeks ago they've really stepped up patrols out there, and there's a new CHP officer in town as well. Roo got written up for crossing a double solid yellow last Sunday on Eastshore Rd as we were on our way to Bodega Head to take the dog for a walk.
On our way back an hour or so later the same officer had a couple of ricers with their 240SX's (who we saw earlier as they were practicing their mad tyte drifting skillz on Bodega Head) pulled over at the Chevron station with their hoods popped. A couple of Sheriff's cars were there as well with drug-sniffing dogs standing by.

I think so. SR71 (I forget if hes on here or NASIOC) is a cop in the San Jose area (I think) and he was saying that if they pull you over, they have the right to look under the hood, and if you give them a hard time about it they can have you sit on the curb for a few hours while they get a warrant issued.
