Thats not how a Jedi would've said it

QFTTTTTTTTT!

As silly as this may sound to some, I would never consider an equal length header on a WRX simply because of the sound. To me, the boxer rumble is a huge part of the Suby experience and not worth throwing away for even 30hp. My friend's car w/ the Gruppe-Sex header and Vishnu exhaust/uppie sounds positively wicked.

Don't coat/wrap - send it to Swain Tech for the thermal barrier coating. Stuff is pretty awesome. I just had them do the header for my Mini since it's really tightly packed in there and it's just below the carb. My old header from my '01 RS:

I brushed across this header as I was changing the oil once - less than a minute after shutting off the car and it didn't burn me - couldn't even get near my jet-hot coated headers on my 327 Datsun or the locally coated header on my Celica.

I wouldn't, but then I have had bad things happen with wrap before. Maybe I did it wrong, but never had any kind of issue with a Swain coated header.

I did but like I said before, I dont want to go TOO crazy with this setup. my main goal is a 300HP reliable daily driver
I still dont really understand how an external wastegate works?? LoL sorry, im stupid when it comes to modding engines. All I know is that it sounds freakin sick.
