It's really a sham you're giving up on it, but considering it looks like every damn oil seal needs to be replaced, it's understandable. It's a mess under there and certainly not safe for the track . Have all these leaks been present since your initial build or did they show up over time?

Thanks

When the motor was installed there was no leaks. Just over time more and more have been popping up. And I've put like 17k on the new motor so I would have to say it's past it's warranty time, lol. I'll trade it in and let them deal with it. The motor seems to be in damn good health so hopefully someone else can carry the torch, lol.

It's ok Im going to look at nice IX MR in sac saturday, I might just pick it up.

Yep, the motor itself seems to be ok, but every freaking seal in the thing looks like its leaking. No fun....

I love the Evo IX's! Pick it up and bring it to the track

I have questions. I have veilside V1 front lip on my Z that I'm bringing. I'm wondering if I should take it off and leave it at home before the track day. (4 bolts + double sided tapes). I'm not planing to go off road since I will not be pushing the limit.

Also, do people recommend using masking tapes to cover front of the car before the track day? Do people do that at the track or a day before? (I'm a novice apparently)

How many novice and how many coach are we going to have there?

last year, i believe only like 3-4 taped minor parts of their car (mostly headlights). as for coaches, there was one for each novice group i believe (might have been 2) for the first few laps for novices. there is a driver meeting during the morning that will go through a lot and answer lots of questions. hopefully this helped.
