BTW if you end up there w/ an AE86 please let me ride along. Most of my track time there was in my old '80 Celica coupe which is a similar chassis (mine was mostly MA47 Supra parts though).

reverse is not fun. I have ran the bypass once, in the rain, didn't like it either. PLus, if im trying to compare laptimes i have to do it on the same track config! haha

My vote is regular direction in the morning and reverse in the afternoon. That way we can get some pictures with all four wheels off the ground. Flying high, the way Subaru's were meant to be driven.

Pretty funny.. I found a page from the first track day I ever did. Unfortunately even though they took pics, the only pic my car showed up in was one where you could see part of the hood and the windshield but ah well. I have a couple fairly bad pics of my car mixin' it up with a group of AE86's but have to find them. It was such an awesome day because they didn't advertise well and there was less than 20 people there all day. I put over 300 miles on my car and went home when I was too tired to drive. The EQ day last year reminded me of the fun of this day because of the close-knit group of great people, and the small amount of attendance (relative to a current HPDE or something). SO MUCH FUN and I hope it stays that way!
Anyway, I also wanted to post this because at the top of the grid of pictures, you will see a link that says "Turn 5 Jump." This was a guy who showed up in a Focus rental car.... You can see here what happens if you execute Turn 5 badly... But still save it. DON'T DO THIS! First few times through it's good to consciously touch your RIGHT FRONT tire to the white line on the outside of the turn. This all becomes clear once on the track. Take your first laps slow, exaggerate your line and you will be doing GREAT before you know it.
