No, Any driver can enter as long as they have a safe running car and a helmet.

Oh I want in sooo bad. I just gotta see if I can somehow save $270 without it burning a hole in my pocket. I 'll see if I can get my buddy from SLO to bring up his Bugeye.

Would we need fire suits or anything?

i don't think so. last track day all we needed were helmets. you should be fine.
