I have seen some guys with miatas do some pretty amazing stuff. I have seen em fly by corvettes, subies, even a maserati one. If you know how to drive it, and you don't get stuck in the straights with someone who won't let you pass... you should be doin just fine.

Erm.. might be a dumb question but are suction cup camera mounts (like a Panavise or a Delkin) permitted or would a camera mount need to be bolted down? I'd like to get some in car vid...
I'm getting the car aligned today. I have new pads, brake fluid, sways, end links, and fresh oil going in this weekend. Enough for me to confidently destroy my front right tire like I did at Thunderhill in my LGT? 
I'm skipping SS brake lines for the moment. Supposedly the 2008+ STI comes with low-expansion lines from the factory, or at least lower-expansion than the WRX or old STI.

I am one of those two people looking to sell their spot. Unfortunately, I am having clutch issues and will not be able to participate so if you were interested in attending, please PM me and hopefully we can get you in.
I did pay for the optional lunch so I'm looking to just recoup my $240 but let me know your thoughts and perhaps we can work something out.
This event is going to be an absolute blast and I'll be going with friends despite not being able to drive my car so let everybody you know that they now have an opportunity to get in some very valuable and unimpeded track time.
