We have plenty of beginners/first timers signed up. We will have instructors available to show you around the track and with the low number of cars on track at a time, its a very nice and safe environment for beginners to learn!

Thanks

With all the different clubs I have run with even 20 cars on track is fine. I wouldn't do more than 20 for the beginner group as they tend to bunch up more because of the more restricted passing rules. I'm not telling you how to run your day but three groups, 20 beginners, 25 intermediate and 25 open usually works real well. That way you are not standing around all day waiting to run again, but have enough time to check the car over, cool off and take a little rest. If I remember right didn't you go to an open track in the afternoon due to the low number of cars still diving.
I know we can definitely run more than 10 cars at a time safely, but its really nice to keep the beginner groups sparse for safety sake. We are limiting the day to 40 cars total, so I don't think there's any need to go to larger run groups. The second half of the day we'll most likely combine groups a bit if necessary.

Lack of drive time was not an issue for anyone last year, so I don't really see any point in crowing the run groups anymore. I'm definitely open to suggestions if I'm missing anything.

Thanks
-- Ed

Not sure if this has been covered yet or not, but if my gf wants to ride shotgun (yeah she's a speed freak lol), would she still have to pay?

as far as how many cars can run, in my hpde groups we have def run 40+ cars during a session, Thill is huge. 40 cars would be fine for me as then I can have all the track I want and not have a car in my sights
Exactly. We could definitely run a lot more cars, but the point of these days is to have a nice open track, and not having to worry about hitting traffic or lacking drive time

This sounds very fun. I'm new and have never been to a track. I'll try to save up the $275 that I'll need to go.
