Yea man... its insane! We couldn't believe what we saw when we pulled the rods out. One of them was severely shaved down at one of the weakest points of the rod. Not to mention all of the ring gaps were almost perfectly aligned with one another and of course the bores were nowhere near round.
Didn't you say this was engine #3???

Some douchebag named Ryan McMakin aka Rynomoto on nasioc built the first one after the notorious 07 STi piston ring problem happened to my car. He is out in Tyler, TX. He then rebuilt the 2nd one and the third one. It will take me a while to explain why I went back to him but basically he covered the second one with his own money and the third one I only paid for parts. After the 3rd one went this was around the same time so did all his other ones and we realized he was full of ****.
The last one was machined and assembled by AMS (Automotive Machine and Supply) out in Fort Worth, Texas.
My car has not been running for the last 3 years and I have only owned it for 4. The last 3 years of my life have been a total and complete nightmare.
