I'm genuinely interested as I don't know much about EcuTek, but I've heardits a dinosaur.

And "best" is subjective.
Why isn't "open source" tuning as popular as Cobb or Ecutek? It's *way* cheaper ($160 or less), fun to play with RomRaider, and its actually incredibly easy.

Just.......wondering!

I would think an owner and trainer of Ecutek Japan, http://www.linkedin.com/pub/shigenori-ara/8/9a4/444, would be much more qualified than any other tuner in this area. It makes perfect sense he would cost more for his time.

From what I read on Ecutek.com, it seems this tuning software can safely read Subaru ECUs at a faster rate, or cycles (Hz), than other software. Plus, the benefits of partial throttle tuning.

Road tune and dyno...thats pretty sweet. Put my name down for a tune!

Whats cool too is that Shiggy can tune my Fly-by-wire gas pedal curve thingy.

Blitz sells this kit that basically gives you three different maps or curves for the gas pedal, why waste $400 on that when Shiggy can do a custom one, yay!

The ride is pretty stock, but I think the tune will give a little get up.

u should get a tbe before the tune. You're not going to notice too much of a difference getting custom tuned for stock.
