Hey Mike. Yeah... we've been getting some errors with the new OTA update. After the exploit, you are probably getting the phone won't be detected wait. We are still trying to figure that out. However... Use this method. I think you might need to use an old version of Z4Root, but it should work, or so I've been told. Someone said version 1.2?? Pssshhhh. My method was out months before this every showed up, but yeah, use this method. It isn't as convenient, because they removed it from marketplace, but it does work.

Yeah. I try not to rewrite things. Kind of inefficient. There isn't anything magical about our scripts. You can open it and look at the code. I know some people were able to get it into a GUI which is awesome. I tell everyone, don't rewrite code. If you can use our code, either in parts or in the whole, use it. Efficiency!

What type are you looking for? Something stock Android? Something kind of flashy? Something kind of lean?

I use Fission by TeamDefuse. It is stock Android. Very lean. Clean, and I have tutorials on how to install that, too.

I've tried ApeX which is a mix of blur and stock Android. Has some cool transitions, but I think they become a little much after awhile.

Seems like a lot of people like RubiX and Tranquility for the DX as well.

 

I heard that device was one of the worse Android devices on the market... Did I hear correctly?

 

hardware wise or software wise????

1.6 blows chunks. waiting for the OTA...

 

Checked around a little last night and tested a few, have to say the best one I have seen for this device (blows all the one's I used on my OG Droid away as well) is this one.

Cool. Glad that you found something you like. Anything is better than stock Motorola. Motorola just has too much crap on their phone.
