Well... I bring my wagon in for the recall, done...10 mins.. cool.
Not only did I get a new clip for the cruise control cable, I got a new 12 x 7" DENT
IN THE RIGHT FRONT FENDER. WTF?!
It was like some over-sized tech leaned over a put all of his/her weight on it.
So I put on my game face, ready to raise all hell and what, no argument from the service manager? I guess I should be thankful that they had Dent Pro fix it at no
charge to me, but still i'm a little pissed off and still had to miss a couple of hrs. from work.
Oh well, it's fixed and I should get over it, but it makes me wonder, since they put up no fight, does this happen often?

they have a really small lot and accidents happen there often. just like on my dealership lot. parking is close and lot size is to small for is now so we end up sending like 1 or 2 cars a day to the body shop. its common.

Let me first say that I would also be angry about the dent in my fender.
However, I would be very thankful that WITH NO ARGUMENT, the service manager agreed to fix my car for free. You gotta realize that sometimes accidents happen and a great test of a companies customer service skill and willingness is how they go about fixing the damage caused by the accident.
In this case, it only cost you a couple hours of work, and unless you're hourly, I wouldn't think that would be too bad. I would be annoyed about the dent too, but it's fixed and they took care of you so it's cool now, right?
