They say this will only affect 2% of their customers but as time goes on that 2% is going to grow. A lot.

Yep, I ended up getting warnings twice, and had to switch up to Bis class (no caps)

what I find really funny is, most DSL is obsolete, its being phased out slowly because of cable/fiber/wireless.

The other "funny" thing is the fact that DSL by its nature is limited in bandwith in the first place. Its absulute bull**** that AT&T is claiming "some users are using up our badnwith" no...that NOT how DSL works, sorry.

**** yah Comcast business class.

that's what i have at home. my modem broke on a Friday afternoon before a 3day weekend and they had some dude there to replace it in 4 hours. One of my coworkers has the same deal, Comcast came and replaced her hardware on thanksgiving... love or hate Comcast, they take care of their bus customers.

It's to keep people from running a server in the home, and comcast has had a cap for years now. If you have a static ip you still will not have a data cap with dsl and uverse. Also the avarage "big time internet user" uses about 150-200gb per month. it's more data then you think. I have 3 game systems and stream netflix all day and still can't come close to 150gb. Comcast and att have caps for personal use..... nothing new
