i know it took me a while to get used to how a subaru handles.
it so funny how people can make comments about other people crashing but when it happens to you all we hear is excuses.
just remember this "IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE"
even the best drivers crash, people that do it for a living crash bad without having a blow out
get real dude
im just glad they both are going to be ok

you can only hit 130 in I think 1 section of road on hamilton, and that's coming down, and hitting the left turn perfect so that you can accelerate enough to hit 130 (maybe) before a right turn at the end of the straight.

the mt hammy meet has caravans ranging from a few cars to well over 100. it's a very mellow pace up and back. the wrecks that happen on mt hammy meet days are usually the guys that take off mid day and head up and over or up and back. the caravans are generally safe and mellow.
there aren't many places you can hit 130 on the road and not many people do it...and NO one does it in the caravans.
So no worries mate. see you there.

Yeah, after seeing that, my and my friend with an STi's new motto is "keep it at the track"
We've seen far to many crashes on hwy 9, and I had a little scratch put onto my bumper from hwy 84 =P

I am pretty sure something did go wrong, like he drove past his safety limit or something was beyond his control.
No one is arguing that
I have a problem when people wreck and try to blame something other then what really caused the accident.. driver error. Of course there are sometimes there is nothing you can do (like when I laid down my first bike on an onramp because I hit anti-freeze, not much you can do there since I was in shorts and not going to put a knee down to keep it up) but I would say 90% of the time its your own fault that caused it. There have been a few minor accidents in the SRIC when people have gone on drives, but it was people putting cars into snow banks and a few scraped bumpers and bent fenders, but not once have I heard people say anything about it was not their fault and how if they had different tires or different equipment they would have been fine.
Just because it was raining and he was on 070s was not what caused the accident. Possible it could have helped reach the end result, but the fault lies with the person that was pushing his vehicle past his ability.
