Rain+RE070s+curve=easy to slide

Dont tell me you've NEVER lost traction, EVER

It happens to the best of us. You can hit an on ramp 5mph faster than you should, and all hell will break loose

Luckily the awd and dccd on auto will get you out of trouble in most cases, in some though, there just isnt enough room for error

Driver error. Every car has it's cornering limits and surface conditions can make them vary dramatically.

Sounds like somebody overstepped the limits of his abilities.

all the above and a car with 1200 miles on it + new driver to awd

i know it took me a while to get used to how a subaru handles.

it so funny how people can make comments about other people crashing but when it happens to you all we hear is excuses.
just remember this "IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE"
even the best drivers crash, people that do it for a living crash bad without having a blow out
get real dude

im just glad they both are going to be ok

Yeah, but you shouldn't be going at maximum attack on a 2-lane mountain road in the rain on summer tires. It's not a track. Wrecks can happen to anyone, at anytime, but you're significantly increasing your odds with those choices.....

I'm glad the guys are ok, but I swear this happens every time a drive gets posted :|

From what I've heard, he wasnt speeding or going wild at all

Even at 45-50 in the rain on the re070s you can break all 4 loose on a moderate curve
