Yeah really, Mountain View'$ $katepark are a few metal ramps in an unlevel ashphalt parking lot. right between: Sunnyvale is a dream if youre good and Greer is straight out of the 70's OG cool.

Cities dont understand what skaters want, i grew up with a curb and a few banks to skate and i was more than happy.

That cop is a dick... I have never come across a cop that was that bad... The worst Cop I have dealt with was a CHP... The cop was being a dick to me and I hadn't done anything wrong.

^ age can do a lot to a cops attitude. I bet 1/2 the cops out there treat young kids like that as unruly brats that dont listen...as they should to a degree.

That cop is a spazzzzzz. However, in the article it does state that there was previous contact and I'm sure those bastard children were purposely giving that cop a hard time. The bottom line though, is that the cop got emotionally engaged when he shouldn't have given a crap. Even if the kids were being disrespectful little punks (I'm sure they were and deserved to get smacked around) the cop was wrong (time for a vacation).

You can say, if you guys get hurt here, your parents can possibly go after the city to sue them... or... hey, it's my job to make sure that the rules are enforced, or hey, rules are rules, or i dunno, make one up.

Heck, just the hey boys, I am sorry, but you aren't suppose to skate here, because it is a law and you can possibly be fined, should be enough. The guy didn't have to throw the kid to the ground.

And what does it matter if the kid was video taping the whole thing. When you are on the job as a public servant, you work for the taxpayers. What you do on the job is public.
Lol...right. After you say all that how are you going to feel when one of those little punks sticks his middle finger in your face and says his daddy makes ten times as much as you. Then you have a small group of 14yr old boys laughing at you as they skate off. After about the third time of that you might blow your lid as well...lol.

I used to skate in highschool and I know one thing, unless a cop actually takes action against you, you're going to skate that spot. I'm not saying what the cop did was right. He should have called for backup before using force because that may have at least scared the kids away, but I would want to beat that kid's face in too, haha!
