That was a dick move on the cop's part. No question about it.

Funny how a police dog is considered an officer. I've seen a video where a cop's German Shepard got shot, and they called a Life Flight helicopter to fly it to a hospital...

But this guy's pet "is just a dog." Interesting double standard.

I agree with you on all points. I'm sad about the dog dying horribly, but the dog's owner could have gone a little slower. I do think the cops should get some some sort of reprimand.

The cop could have escorted them to the ER for animals. I would have said **** it and just kept speeding honestly because I wouldn't let my dog just die. I'll pay the damn fine or get arrested later but at least my dog would be alive.

well what gives other people the right to endangered other innocent lives for there pregnant wife?

to me i dont see the a difference here. a frantic husband rushing his pregnant wife vs frantic pet owner trying to save the family pet,

if you guys really think dogs is just another dog or its just animal that can simply be replaced, tell that to those blind folks that rely on there dog

im sure everyone here has gone faster than 100mph atleast once for no reason but for the sake of trying to have fun, and i am damn sure everyone here has once driven like maniac just to be " ON TIME "
but atleast these couple had a reason to actually drive they have for trying to save there dog

and the guy actually had his emergency hazards on while speeding

Yeah I've seen huge funerals/memorials thrown for a K9 that was either killed in duty or just happened to kick the bucket. I'm sure there's some cops out there that would have assisted this couple in some way.
