yeah really. When i do dirtbike and mtb races, the photographers always pick the dumbest spot to shoot from. like shooting a straightaway when they should be shooting a turn etc.

how many pics? or i should say useful pics? im guessing 40

Fifteen pics maybe. Didn't count. A single digital copy was $25.

damn, i guess they have rights to all the good spots on the track though, and the public would have to stay within the straights mostly

Just wanted to say, my first track day was in the rain at Thunderhill in a 2400lb RWD Celica on all-season tires. It was a blast (scary at first) and I bet I learned more about car control on that day than I would have in the next 5 if it had not been wet for the first half of the day.

I do not like the chicane because entering turn 1 WAY too fast (so you can enter turn 2 WAY too fast) is a lot of fun. Don't need the straight really, but it's nice to carry speed into 1 (IMHO).

And backroads fun is great, but you just cannot push your car like you can on a track where everyone is going the same direction, there are corner workers and it's a controlled environment. Autox can be fun, but I mean - to me, 5 hard laps around Thunderhill would be more exciting than a whole day of autox.

Nice pics of the Subies. I was hoping to see the GST car at the 25, but didn't know it wasn't going to run.

Ya, my last track session was back in October so it was nice to get back out there again. Here are the pics from gotbluemilk. I have to say they take great pics. Wish I had a bit more $$ to pickup pictures more often.

I especially like the picture of my rear passenger tire when my camber bolt got loose.

Special thanks to Chris Lock for taking me on a spin in the Legacy. This now twice I've had the fun of riding with a Lock Racer (Brian in my own STi last year and now with Chris). These guys will tear up the track. Wish I was even close to their skill!

Once again thanks to GST and Goto:Racing. Also to Henry @ MachIII for helping me with my alignment and tire mounting woes.

Haha. How about I give you a lift, a place to crash, and feed you lunch?

damn skippy, and I wasn't even pushing my car that hard lol. Going out in mike's del slo was...hmm...eye opening to say the least. Basically skating around the entire track always at the traction limits. Try that on the street and you are asking for disaster
