Yep he's got all the toys. I should be lucky i get to ride in them and sit in them and watch them work on them.

I actually have seen a lot of what other people havent like the WORKS shop and other cool places so i really cant complain.

I believe it was either Kaz Nakajima or Sakon Yamamoto. In all honesty, you really can buy yourself a championship. It's unfortunate, but true.
yeah its sad, i cant say if its true because i have to stop acting like i know everything. I hear stories of Frankie Munez of Malcolm in the middle racing in the Atlantic series and his friends say he's horrible lol but he also gets lucky.

It's definitely true, even at the beginning levels of karting not to mention most club racing.

yeah i should be lucky i have a car and paved roads i guess... even though dirt roads are better.

no thanks to Karting, too many youtube accidents, i'd rather slide off a bike than get trampled by a kart.

I'm gonna spec my/a miata once i get a job.

good luck with that, spec miata racing aint cheap either, competition is tight and there is a huge difference between a 10k spec miata and a 25k spec miata

I wish there was a circuit that had pre-made cars and no modifications were allowed. All would be dyno'd on a regular basis and ballasts would be used to equalize power/weight ratios for small power differences from car to car

as long as my $10K miata beats other $10K miatas is fine with me. And it feels even better when you beat a $20K one. likewhenmyRSbeatSTi'srallyxingwhat? lol

Yeah there def needs to be a more controlled race where money has little effect.

I hear ya Mike. I just got back to my place in Davis this afternoon. I just changed the oil and bled the brakes. While taking a spin in it, I realized that two blocks down from my place, nothing has electricity. The street lights weren't working. Street lights were out. Had to drive to the other side of town to use the ATM.

Yes, very true. However there are so many cars, you will always have a bunch of people to race with.

Kyle, weren't you finishing up school doin 3D stuff? If so, just concentrate on being really good, get a job in the film or game industry and you'll start at 50+K and up to well over 100K, depending on skill and experience. If you don't buy a house round here, you'll easily have some cash flow for your spec Miata, depending on how good you are with your money!

Hi all. Just got back from THill. That was fun. It wasn't too bad. Dry for like 75% of the time. That s*** was fun. Like to say thanks to the guys that put it on. Also can't forget InternationalB for coaching most of the day. Adrienne (sp?) from NorCalEvo for being the back-up instructor and coaching on my first and last run. Thanks to the GST and Calculated Risk peeps. The ride in the GranAm Legacy was awesome. Good stuff.

I did buy some pics. Will post them up later.
