Yeah. Sunlight woke me up. That was the fastest I have ever left the house. Haha. The price was $250. I paid it back in September. It was the diver-bomber price. Originally, the event was schedule for November 18 or something. I knew about the event since March or something, but knowing school, couldn't plan that far ahead. Midterms and track days usually fall on the same day. That and also hearing that the novice group might be capped because there might not be enough instructors. At the time, I decided to pass on it, then in September, I met some of the NorCalEvo peeps at a meet and learned that they rescheduled for January. The day was perfect. Paid my fee and yeah. Is $250 expensive, yeah, but I think of it as paying for the convenience. If it was during the school session, It'd would probably be difficult to coordinate, not to mention my parent's displeasure of me skipping school. Probably more so of the "I pay your tuition! I expect you to go to class." Was it worth it? Yeah. A little pricey, but a good experience.

yeah, conditions didnt look bad at all. I was expecting standing water and puddles everywhere, i guess the storm was all in the bay area.

the only day i thought about going was the $150 day, and i think that was in Dec or Nov i dont know.

Yeah it sucks trying to pick a date when you dont even know your school schedule...im on quarters so its really a PITA.

Yeah. Those are the T.E.A.M. events. I think last month and this month was special circumstances. Very last minute deal. Usually, it is $200, $225 for late entry.

NASA HPDE is like $150, but requires you to get a membership which is $40 I think.

You get much less track time with NASA events however vs other HPDEs, only 4 20 minute sessions

yeah I would mind 30-35 cars on the track and only 20 minutes a session however. At the end of the day yesterday I was one of only a handful of cars on the track.

Should get 2-2.5hrs also at the team event this friday
