Lan Guai Fong is where all the white people hang out in Hong Kong -- I abso-friggin-lutely hate that place... Not necessarily because it's full of white people though
Now I'm a funky one... ABC that lived in HK for almost 3 years, speak Cantonese and Japanese, lousy lousy at Mandarin, and semi-literate only heh heh. And unfortunately, I won't be in Asia this year... instead I spent all my travel money on Kaplan's

I like to kick it at Times Square in Causeway Bay, Tai Koo Shing and Kornhill Plaza in Tai Koo, Tsim Tsa Tsui (except for Tsim Tung/East TST, it's dirty out there hehe), Jordan, and Mong Kok Going out to Quarry Bay (Tsin Sui Wan) is nice to relax sometimes too (Ocean Park 0wNz j00!)
And I like to go out to North Point/Fortress Hill at night to hunt for "northern mushrooms"
And you're right Vanessa, my Mandarin needs help BADLY! It's becoming as if Cantonese is useless now
