Basically its Beef Brisket Noodle soup with beef tendon. When i go to places i know have it but have those mostly chinese menus, some of the servers give me a clueless look if i try to describe it in english. Can anyone help a non-canto speaking brotha out?

don't forget to ask them for ngow gun (tendon). some places only give you the beef and not the tendons...

or... just look for this on the menu... 牛肉（牛筋）麵 in parenthesis is the tendon part... usually it's not on the menu...

 

or it can be ngow jaap

 

just ask for a big bowl of da lau er.....

Dude.. just ask for the Beef Stew noodle soup. That's what it is in most Cantonese rest. When I was in HK in January... it was like that.
