no, not end of point, WHAT mods? whats your boost? your afr's, egt's? pretty important info.. i can make an extravagant claim too, watch this.. i had my car tuned by shiv and made 90 whp.. i was not happy, so i took it to mike and made 900 whp.. same mods

 

I agree that 1/4 mile tels a story, as does everything else. I disagree that it describes driveability. A 1000hp Supra can have an awesome 1/4 mile time, but the lag on it will be so horrid for daily driving it wouldn't be funny. I know what dyno charts show, and I know how to read it and look at a powerband.

However, everything that this guy stated is completely OPINION. He likes the driveability of the car, so dynos, 1/4 miles, 0-60 can't prove him wrong. Like you said, two different people will have 2 different stories, then again, 2 different dynos will give 2 different stories, and then again, 2 different drivers will give 2 different 1/4 mile times.

Having boost come in at different times may show a less progressive powerband, but many people love it. It may not be ideal at a track, but once again, we're not talking about that. All we're talking about is driveability.


If you remember my statements prior to this thread of Mike tuning my car, you should remember:

- how do I prove he deemed my car untuneable w/o Mike coming out and giving his own statement?

- how do I prove he cut my boost to .5 bar to keep my car from knocking? Even if Shiv who took the line which was limiting my boost out or Mike who put it in came out and agreed, there's no paperwork, it's all from word of mouth which you seem to have a hard time believing.

- how do I prove Shiv tuned my car in 1 hour? He doesn't have reciept printouts, and I would have thrown it away within a few months anyway.

- how do I prove the huge hiccips in my afr if I never got a baserun printout from Shiv?

You should spend the money you got back from Mike on ENGLISH classes, not on another tune.

He didn't neglect my friend last weekend... His evo was tuned by Shiv a LONG time ago and he had a question about the tune recently. Shiv was able to meet up with him last week to go over the car and double check things to make sure it was running right, didn't charge him either.
