Bad accident.... seeking advice.

Car Info: 03 Cummins, 99 miata, 91 v8 miata, 90 spec miata
Well, the cop came by my house today and told me I am under arrest. Now I need to goto court no matter what.....
I supposedly lied to him (which I didn't), and he found a witness who said that they think I was going 35-40 mph so he took back the 29mph ticket and wrote one for 45. What an ***. Also, he has lied about what I told him. For example, I told him I was in 2nd gear around 3k rpms which I know is a little less than 30mph. He then reported that I said I was at 3.5k rpms.
Hopefully with this and some other dirt I will be able to fight in court and not be arrested. What a ****ing ***** life is. I have no car, probably soon to be no license, and a 'friend' was the one who said that I was going 35-40.....

Doesn't sound like much of a friend to me. =\
Get a lawyer dood, and gather information about what happened. Start writing down EVERYTHING!! This is extremely important to do! Time of day, weather, visibility, direction the kid came from, how well you saw the kid.
Document every little and big detail you can think of, then get yourself a lawyer.
