Would you be willing to or how much have you? My answers are vastly different for each. Given the chance to go back in time I'd probably stop myself at about 1/4 or 1/3 what I've already spent. That hindsight of having spent much more than your top listing is what will prevent me from ever doing it again. It's about as wise as

This is just an amount for upgrades and mods. This amount does not include wear and tear, repairs, fluids, etc.

Have scientists even been able to mathematically explain the hoonage factor yet? that alone explains why so many people drive nice cars yet still rent.

For me it just comes down to if it is still making me happy or not. If I continue to enjoy the car and what I am doing with it I think the money will keep getting spent.
Once I reach that wall where I am no longer happy with it or interested then I think it will stop.
