lol, yeah reason being you sell cars under invoice (eventho that's just an arbitrary number that doesn't really have any meaning) to people like me.

The lack of power is definitely a concern. Even comparing it to my WRX, the power on the freeway downshifting and the power off the line wasn't working for me. Handling was ok but it was a bit soft for my taste.

It definitely was a strange cross-shopping. Yes they are two completely different cars catered to two different demographics and price ranges.

I was thinking of being practical and save money by getting BRZ. But, I also was thinking the Porsche would be a good long term car (besides the maintenance) for my age.

So everyone that could afford a Ferrari or Lambo or M3 gets it? Sometimes practicality and saving money for bigger things might be an option. That's why I considered the BRZ if I wanted to make a bigger purchase later on, but said "I'll make other arrangements down the road" so I could get the Porsche.

the frs also has a lot of room when you fold the seats down. This weekend i went snowboarding and took the FRS. 2 snowboards+boots, 2 duffle bags, 1 sleeping bag and 1 backpack.

Brz is pretty close to a stock wrx. It can be easy to mistake the power for torque, feeling of power. On the freeway it feels slower than it actually is. It's all relative and if you want to get a thrill from solely flooring the car or from cornering fast. I think if you like drag racing and torque the BRZ is probably not going to be your top pick. I do have to add the close to 34mpg / insane am of storage space despite pinner rear seats is amazing given the cars dimensions. I fit 7 boxes of mexican cokes in there with a crap ton of room to spare. Even I was surprised.
