Intermittent Door Lock Problem/Issue
Recently, I have had an issue where I unlock or lock the door via key fob and the lights will blink accordingly (car is receiving the signal), but the doors will not lock or unlock. I then check the interior door lock buttons, and they do not work either.
This problem intermittently stops, sometimes after I drive the car for more than 15 minutes, or in the sun. I don't have enough experiences with either to strongly correlate it to heat or run time.
I think this rules out binding, or dead actuators. Leaning on: exposed/corroding line, or dying battery, as possible reasons.
I have done the one button press unlock mod on my car. The alarm is otherwise completely stock.
Anyone else with this issue? How'd you resolve it? Thanks.

OK, so a bit of an update. I drove my car back to the bay over the xmas holiday and it worked fine once in the bay. When I drove back to Socal, it went back to **** and now it doesn't work at all. Power windows work, Key ring light and sound are strong, I just tried cleaning out the battery terminals.
Am I wrong in thinking it's a loose/bad wire as opposed to fuse? It makes the click when I hit the unlock button, but the acuator doesn't trigger. So look at wiring from actuator to relay? Is this flawed logic?

my gf has been having the same problem on the passenger side door of her '10 wrx. haven't had the chance to pick up on the characteristics of when it works and does not, but like you were saying, the interior door lock doesn't work either.
