Crazy intermittent Not Starting problem
Well I had this happen a few times, dealer couldn't find problem. When I would go back later and try and start the car it would be ok everytime. I was about to have it towed once and then boom it was starting again.
So it always happens after i've just dropped someone off or been in a place for a shortwhile and come back to start my car again and it just turns over.
I replaced the fuel pump and boom no signs of issue for 2 months and then this weekend same problem. Left my car had dinner and some drinks and boom it was starting again. Could it be injectors? or maybe the chip in the car key?? Anyway to test either of these.
My fuel pump was arming and it still wouldn't start. I'm wondering if injectors could be getting old (42k) they are pretty maxed I think, but wouldn't that display a different type of behavior. I would be insanely worried because I drive 100 miles a day to work and back and do a lot of traveling, but it also seems to start eventually so.........
any creative ideas would be welcomed.

When you start your car, do you put the key in the on position and wait a few seconds before turning it to start?
It's a good idea to put the key in the on position so the fuel pump can fuel the system and then turn it on to crank. I believe this has resolved a number of issues for people who have after market fuel pumps.

do you have an alarm on the car?
or was there ever an alarm on the car?
I had this problem with my car at one point, turns out the wiring from an alarm that was previously installed on there was all jacked...
