its $2.85 for premium at the 76 in downtown monterey....$38 to fill up and I still had like 1/8th of a tank left

 

i paid 2.79 on 2/10 and 2.99 last night

A friend at work freaks out about the gas prices, and every time I talk to my Gramps he asks me what I am paying for gas out here - I guess that's his barometer of what sort of crap he is gonna lay on me about how living in the bay area is dumb and why arizona is so much better. Myself? What do I care? Is it like I am going to stop needing fuel every day any time soon? Magic 8-ball says not fecking likely. So regardless of what it costs, I still need to buy it - all I can do is change my habits to be a little more economical.

 

3.09 an hour ago in Pleasanton. It was the same price in San Ramon.

 

saw 3.15 at a shell in fairfield.

around here (petaluma) its about 2.90 for 91
