Most of our oil doesn't come from the middle east. I think less than 20% of it comes from there.

The oil companies will use any excuse to bump the prices up.

And of course, our money help countries who'd like nothing more than for us to not exist...

no i am talking about people who complain when it goes up 10 cents, or cheer when its down 10 cents.. ya its nice to save.. but if gas was really a worry for you then you should have gotten a prius.

i feel sorry for european countries getting nailed worse than we do.

the issue for me is that in the u.s. especially in california where you pretty much have to commute to work to afford to live driving is a necessity and therefore gas is more like a utility. With big oil controbutions to politics it'll never happen while a republican is in office and not likely with a demo, but it should be regulated.

we're getting bent over and statements like yours really show that their plan is working on a LOT of people...most really.

But hell...I like driving. I like power. I like speed. I'll keep on driving...too bad they know that....fortunately my family has oil stock.....so I can fool myself into believing I'm putting money in my families pockets....then back into mine..haa.

i'm not bent over gas prices, and if prices go up w/out price gouging, then so be it. if i cared about gas prices, i wouldn't be driving my car the way i do. if anything, bay area home prices are what's outrageous. maybe that should be regulated.

there's many other things that are much more expensive per gallon that we don't even think about.

2.69 for measly 87 Octane in Sunnyvale yesterday.

Thank GOD the STI isn't my daily driver and I only fill it about once a month. $2.90 for 91, and I've been kicking around the idea of trying half a tank of 100.

I doubt that you drink enough milk to be able to compare its cost to that of gasoline...

i don't drink milk. it makes me gassy.

i'm just saying prices go up for everything. the oil companies are always going to have some lame excuse as to why they raised prices. yes, i know it's bs, but that's not going to change the prices. i like driving too much to care about how much it's going to cost.

I filled up at 2.69/gallon at the Costco in Sunnyvale today, which is pretty good considering that the Shell by my house is 2.67 for 87 and they usually have good prices.

there was a reason gas prices were artificially low before the Prop 87 election, so that it would not pass (either way if it did or didn't pass, gas prices would go back up to where they once were). Every little incident in the world will now be an excuse to raise gas prices.

damn man
a gallon of blood is 1500 bucks, so that's 8 pints in 1 gallon. so respectivily i should get 180 bucks for one pint of my blood.

i gotta find a blood bank ASAP

I saw on the news that Angola is going to be producing more than a fair share of oil so it may help the oil issue...
